Insurance for Your Move
Moving has its inherent risks and even the best movers will occasionally cause damage, and accidents happen.
We strive to take care of your goods whilst loading, in transit and unloading, however, carriage is at Owner’s Risk as defined in the Carriage of Goods Act 1979. This means that we are not liable for and will pay no compensation for any accidental loss or damage to your goods or property.
Confirm Your Insurance Cover
We recommend you obtain insurance for your move. Do not rely on house and contents cover unless you have confirmed, in writing, with your insurer that your goods will be covered for your move.

CARTS Removals & Storage Insurance
They are a reputable service that provides one of the broadest Insurance covers including Accidental damages caused to your Household Personal Effects by the removalist (if Option A is taken) in the market and is also backed by a credible claims service in Broadspire a division of Crawford & Company.
Some benefits to their policy include;
– New for Old replacement with no Age restrictions (conditions apply)
– Cover for damages discovered up to 45 days after delivery (delayed unpacking)
– Temporary Accommodation for you and your family to $250 per day up to 30 days if your contents have not been delivered due to a loss or damage covered by the policy (Option A cover)
– Removal & Disposal of your Damaged Household Personal Effects up to $5,000
– Covers Incidental Storage to the Move between homes automatically but can also opt for up to 12 months cover whilst your Personal Effects are in Storage.
